Subpoena Paralegal Responsibilities: Represent financial institution by responding to subpoenas made against the institution. Understand subpoena process; properly identify and respond to items requested in subpoena. Prepare responses to subpoena on behalf of financial or banking Clients. Create and prepare reports that identify impediments and take necessary action to clear impediments. Partner and communicate with Client and Firm on a daily basis. Timely clear out daily tasks to ensure subpoena tasks exceed Clients timelines. Qualifications: College degree or equivalent. 3 years experience in handling subpoenas preferred. Experience must include coordinating with financial institutions and banks to manage their responses to subpoenas in a legal proceeding. Advanced understanding and experience of responding to financial or banking subpoenas. Familiarity with the Right to Financial Privacy Act. High level of motivation with ability to work independently. Ability to multitask and be a team player. Thrive in a culture of growth and accountability. Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. A desire to gain an in-depth understanding of internal and client case management systems. Time Management proficiency.
