Attorney Recruiting & Development Coordinator Duties: Coordinate all aspects of law student, entry-level, judicial clerk and lateral associate hiring for the Chicago office. Register for on-campus interview ( OCI ) dates and coordinate all necessary arrangements. Input student, entry- level, judicial clerk, and lateral attorney resumes into recruitment database and route resumes as appropriate. Schedule interviews, greet applicants, solicit feedback on candidates and process candidate reimbursements. Respond to applicant inquiries. Prepare entry-level and lateral associate offer files. Process new associate hires, schedule orientation, and assist with the conflicts and background check processes, onboarding and integration. Complete surveys, maintain information in all Firmwide charts for Chicago office, and provide statistical data as needed. Manage the Summer Program by working with the ARD Manager and Summer Associate Committee to plan, coordinate and implement the summer associate programs, including orientation, training, social events, assignment tracking, performance evaluations and expense reimbursements. Plan and attend weekly Chicago office summer program social events in the evening. Maintain complete files for all on-campus interview schools and summer program events/training. Create and maintain filing system for active/inactive applicant files, recruiting organizational membership files, caterers, local hotels and vendors. Maintain a membership in The National Association for Law Placement (NALP), and applicable city group association. Special projects and administrative support as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree required. 3+ Years of professional services, preferably in a law firm required. Experience working in a fast-paced environment strongly preferred; Ability to meet deadlines and excellent multi-tasking ability is essential. Strong knowledge and understanding of recruiting policy and procedures strongly preferred. Ability to interact with all levels of personnel and project a strong and positive image of the firm. Ability to interact and function as part of a team; including cooperation, adaptability, flexibility, courtesy, and acceptance of feedback to foster smooth and efficient processing of workflow. Self- motivated, energetic, self -starter with excellent client service skills. Must be available for work outside of normal schedule hours (definite extra hours during on-campus recruiting, callback interviewing and Summer Program). Proficiency and experience with social media outlets such as GlassDoor and Linkedin preferred. Extremely technology savvy, resourceful, and strong PC skills to include the MS Office Suite(Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and ViDesktop preferred. Excellent communication skills and can work autonomously and in a team environment. Must have excellent organizational, follow-up, and follow through skills.
