Some people pass this firm up as nothing more than the satellite office of a regional firm--nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, this relatively small office has a practice unto itself, especially in 'soft' intellectual property work, including licensing, joint venture work, and trademark litigation. Although the pay scale is not at the top of the class, this firm grooms partners, not ex-associates, and is a place many see calling their permanent home. Especially for someone who doesn't want to be pressured to stay in the office every weekend, this firm offers solid work in a positive environment.
