Patent Attorney The candidate must have 3 years of experience preparing and drafting patent applications. Software-related patent experience is a huge plus. Should be Bar licensed attorney. Licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in an efficient manner. Must provide examples of completed patents. Preparing, drafting, and reviewing patent applications. Provide superior service and response time to clients. Preparing and drafting patent applications. Complete consultation calls with prospective clients as needed. Participate in team meetings. Responding to communications (e.g., Office Actions) from the U.S. and foreign patent offices. Perform patentability analyses, infringement analyses, invalidity analyses, and patent due diligence with particular emphasis in electrical and mechanical devices/systems, and/or computer science (hardware and software). Utilize our internal software systems to manage clients and workload. Ability to manage docket, meet deadlines, and produce results.
