Technology, Media and Privacy Insurance Coverage Attorney The candidate will concentrate on review and analysis of claims submitted under insurance policies covering technology, media, and cyber risks. Many of these claims involve highly-publicized lawsuits involving new and evolving areas of intellectual property, privacy, and technology law, including privacy and data breach class action litigation. Will liaise with policyholders and brokers, and report to insurers regarding available coverage, liability and damages evaluation and resolution strategies. Speak regularly with defense counsel in connection with the defense of domestic and international claims and engage in high-level strategy discussions with insurers, defense counsel and policyholders. Must be a junior to mid-level associate with insurance coverage experience. Should have experience working on complex insurance coverage matters, including coverage opinions and formal correspondence to policyholders. Litigation experience is helpful. Excellent academic credentials are needed. Must be admitted to the California Bar.
