Litigation Paralegal The candidate's duties include: Understanding of personal injury law and case management strategies; Providing compassion and professionalism to clients and other outside parties; Transcribe correspondence, pleadings, and discovery requests/responses; Comply with Court/discovery deadlines; Proactive documentation of all/any work done on a case; Corresponding with counsel about matters; Act as liaison between attorneys, clients, and witnesses; Gather, organize, summarize, and index documents from various sources; Provide logistical support, including filing legal documents or collecting legal documents at a variety of venues; Drafting and filing motions, pleadings, and other court documents; Organizing and summarizing medical bills and medical records; Constantly updating case medical expenses.; Schedule depositions and mediations. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Paralegal certification from an accredited university required. Superb oral and written communication skills required. Punctual - excellent time-management required.
