Temporary Paralegal Duties: Assisting a Firm SaaS client with creating and reviewing legal disclosures, reviewing files for different licenses, and managing a database of tickets. Maintaining the client s database of tickets, and creating legal disclosures for those tickets. Reviewing files for different licenses for each ticket. Interact and collaborate with Alston & Bird and client paralegals. Meet deadlines and manage the incoming work requests. Provide status updates on ticketing statuses and current reports. Attend weekly meetings with the client and client team. Perform assigned legal research tasks using all available resources including libraries and computer data systems. Proofreading and marking legal documents. Operate standard office equipment such as photocopiers, fax machines and personal computers. Maintaining current and accurate daily time record. Perform special projects as assigned. Qualifications: Completion of a Bachelor's degree and a paralegal certificate are required for consideration. 3+ years of prior paralegal experience. Intellectual Property and Technology and Privacy experience preferred. Working knowledge of Open Source Software. Ability to work overtime and irregular hours as dictated by Firm and client needs. Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when evaluating legal matters. Ability to proofread typed material for contextual, grammatical, typographical or spelling errors. Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate and follow instructions effectively from the client, attorneys and staff and provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact.
