Personal Injury Paralegal Duties: Communicate with clients - answer questions regarding status of case, make follow-up phone calls, make regular inquiries into status of the client s treatment. Review treatment with clients - meet with clients to review the treatment they have undergone. Determine whether a client has seen additional treaters. Review medical records - accurate and complete review of medical records to determine extent of treatment. Determine whether a client has seen additional treaters. Review medical bills and insurance EOBs - understanding of treatment and billing process. Review files with attorneys and fellow paralegals - be able to discuss cases, treatment, insurance, etc. Written correspondence - send out letters of representation, request medical records and bills, write letters to other attorneys and client, review written correspondence with attorneys. Qualifications: Previous experience as a personal injury paralegal. Familiarity with medical records, bills, and insurance. Ability to prioritize and multitask. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Deadline and detail oriented. Able to work under pressure.
