Paralegal The candidate will assist people applying to insurance companies for disability benefits and advocates for individuals whose disability benefits have been denied. Will file appeals to the insurance companies and litigate in federal court. The candidate must have 2 years' Paralegal/nurse consultant. Must be highly organized, detail oriented and have excellent writing skills, knowledge of medical terminology, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to advocate for consumers. Competency in Microsoft word, legal software programs required. Experience in claims handling or nursing consultant a plus but willing to train if you are an ideal candidate.
