Paralegal II Candidate must have: 3+ years experience working in a law office setting. 3+ years experience using and filling pleadings. 3+ years' experience using (mandatory). 3+ years experience in Customer Service. 3+ years experience with law office management. 3+ years experience with the creation/usage of templates for pleadings and motions. Ability to assist other office Paralegals. Ability to assist with the processing of discovery for trial purposes. Experience in Scheduling/Calendaring court dates/trial dates. Ability to perform new client intake/client consultations in person by telephone. Perform administrative duties for entire office. Manage all office activities and other office employees. Ability to take and perform detailed instructions from Attorney. Works close to Attorneys in office. Ability to communicate with governmental agencies, judges, clerks and corporate clients in person and by telephone communications. Ability to work independently/ Ability to work close to Attorneys. Ability to prepare and draft written /electronic correspondence to clients and other professionals (mandatory). Ability to operate law office independently/ Perform and process opening/closing of the office. Must be able to type 75 WPM or more (mandatory). Ability to organize client electronic files/hard copy files. Ability to take directives from Attorneys. Must be experienced in MS Word /Outlook/ Google Calendar and Google Mail. Some Bestcase software experience. Ability to communicate with court personal/other professionals. Ability to manage all aspects of the law office in Attorneys absence. Ability to perform office errands.
