Paralegal - Insurance Defense Litigation The candidate's duties include, but are not limited to: collection, review & summarization of medical records and expenses, preparation and updating of medical notebooks, scheduling of depositions, mediations, court hearings and trial dates, preparation of correspondence and pleadings including discovery responses, affidavits, subpoenas, and notices. Background investigation/research, time and billing entry. Must be highly organized, prompt, professional, and self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to communicate and work well with outside attorneys, courts, clients as well as other members of the firm. High school or equivalent (Preferred). Experience of 3-5 years (Preferred). Paralegal experience working in insurance defence litigation is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary and experience with Aderant/Client Profiles is a plus. This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks, think and work independently and complete tasks within deadline.
