Litigation Paralegal The candidate's duties include: Communicating and corresponding with clients, providers and others in the legal community; Maintaining client files; Calculate and manage deadlines; Review, analyze and summarize case files; Review, draft and file legal documents such as discovery responses, motions and other pleadings for attorneys; Assisting attorneys with preparation of cases for trial; Attending trial with attorneys and assisting throughout trial; Other duties as assigned. 2 years as a litigation paralegal (experience with Personal Injury/Medical Malpractice, Social Security, Workers' Compensation, Bankruptcy) required. Ability to proficiently prioritize a heavy work load required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Understand legal terminology and procedures. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Sharepoint required. Experience with Needles Case Management (NEOS) software is a plus. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus. High School Diploma and/or GED Required. Completion of an Accredited Paralegal program and/or certificate preferred. Associate's Degree or comparable work experience required.
