Associate Attorney The candidate will advise and represent clients in courts, before government agencies, and in private legal matters. Communicate with their clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case. Conduct research and analysis of legal problems. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for clients. Present facts in writing and verbally to their clients or others, and argue on behalf of clients. Prepare and file legal documents. Follow all rules of professional conduct as published by the Illinois Supreme Court and/or the Illinois ARDC. Strategically generate new clients, billable hours, and invoice recovery to meet assigned targets for profitable business volume and strategic objectives. Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel within all client referral sources, prospective clients, and current clients. Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support and management resources, in order to meet performance objectives and clients expectations. Proactively assess, clarify, and validate client needs on an ongoing basis. Referral source development efforts that best address client needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel. Responsible for logging all activity and keeping Client Management Software up-to-date at minimum on a weekly basis. Responsible for a specified and to-be-determined number of meetings monthly.
The candidate should have at least 1-2 years of litigation experience as an attorney. License to practice in the State of Illinois is mandatory. Family law experience is strongly preferred. Exercise independent judgment and discretion while performing job related matters of significance within job duties.
