Associate Attorney- Telecommunications Practice Candidate will gain experience in a broad array of transactions including drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial lease documents for the Firm s telecommunications clients. Must have attained a high level of academic achievement and must have some telecommunications experience. Commercial law firm experience is highly favored for the successful candidate, though telecommunications experience in a non-law-firm environment will be given consideration. Must have superior communication skills, including strong written and verbal abilities, as these are essential to success in this position which often interfaces directly with the client. A positive, outgoing personality and a propensity for working well in a team-oriented legal environment are vital. Must be eager to learn and have a propensity for working independently, yet with instruction and, initially, under appropriate supervision. Requirements: Bachelor's and Juris Doctor Degrees. Member, Illinois State Bar. 2+ years of experience in the Telecommunications industry. A commercial Real Estate background, with a focus on leasing and zoning/land-use transactions is essential. Superior research, analytical, and negotiating ability. Excellent written and oral communication.
