Attorney Recruiting and Professional Development Coordinator The candidate will oversee all aspects of the on campus and lateral recruitment efforts, the planning and implementation of the Summer Program, and handling special projects as needed. Will be helping identify efficiency and accuracy issues, and take part in designing and implementing specific processes and procedures to solve these problems. Must have strong organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Reporting into the Team Lead. End to end support and execution of summer associate program (including general admin support; helping to organize various internal and external events; support and act as resource to summer associates to ensure smooth transitions from law school to law firm). Metrics, data management (offer tracking), on boarding. Build relationships with key recruiting contacts within the business and HR functions and partner with them. Monitor and help drive the sell process for all candidates once an offer has been extended. Support planning and execution of interview season, track and manage candidates from application/ resume screening stage through to scheduling interview, managing and tracking feedback. Involvment in team projects which can be marketing/ social media related. Organize, plan and attend weekly training and social events related to the summer program. Work with Marketing Department on collateral materials and gifts. Solicit and retrieve summer associate evaluations and work closely with summer appointed advisor in connection with the mid-summer and exit reviews. Work with Immigration team for summer associates who require work visas. Conduct exit interviews of summer associates, as needed. Communicate with summer associates on the matters listed above and respond to daily inquiries. Assist with managing the budget. Plan, attend, and follow-up on cultivation activities at law schools throughout the year. Strengthen relationships with student organizations and career services offices in connection with cultivation events, OCI and other relevant activities. Coordinate details for hospitality suites; greet students and answer questions. Organize and schedule on campus and final round interviews. Participate in Hiring Committee meetings, as needed, and assist with pipeline management. Ensure that the office s recruiting database is accurate. Track recruiting statistics and generate internal and external reports. Monitor general email box and respond to emails accordingly. Process travel expenses related to callback interviews. Work closely with the People Advisory team to coordinate new associate logistics and onboarding. Assist with all aspects related to lateral associate recruitment process including the coordination of interview schedules and act as liaison to search firms. Point of contact in connection with offer process/onboarding. Coordinate with the Learning and Development team on training programs for all lawyers, including local CLE processing for various state bars. Keeps abreast of trends in legal training and development for lawyers; makes recommendations around program creation. Assist with special projects on an as-needed basis. Assist with departure process, compiling data for reporting, and generating attrition reports. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree. Should preferably have 3-5 years of relevant professional recruiting experience in a law firm or other professional services recruiting department. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication skills are required. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and multitask is required. Strong technical skills on the following applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Taleo, viDesktop or other Talent Management Systems is needed.
