Nurse Paralegal The candidate will assist attorneys by providing nursing support services pertaining to client legal files. Review and analyze medical reports; drafting medical summaries and correspondence summarizing expert opinions. Assist attorneys with medical evidence preparation & organization for hearings and trials. Review deposition and trial transcripts. Analyze medical records to evaluate the care and status of the claimant. Compose and type document productions, including case analysis memoranda for attorneys. Outline and narrative summaries, chronologies of medical records, and correspondence and reports. Assist lawyers and paralegals in other paralegal tasks. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; RN, LPN, or comparable nursing experience preferred. Should have 3+ years of law firm support experience as a Paralegal. Proficient understanding of medical conditions and technology and ability to explain a diagnosis. Research, analytical, organizational and critical thinking are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Collaboration with team members is an important component of any role at MKCI Therefore, the firm encourages working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with the firm's guidelines.
