Seeking an Attorney Recruitment Specialist Duties: Coordinating both lateral and student/entry-level hires. Sources candidates based on the defined needs of the practice groups from attorney placement agencies, social media, and advertisements in legal publications. Arranges, prepares, and adjusts interview schedules for associate or partner candidates. Works with headhunters to establish fee agreements, solidify relationships, identify and communicate current needs. Coordinates attorney offer process: reference checking, background checks, conflicts checks and offer letter prep. Coordinates the OCI process: registration, screen/select resumes, schedule student call back interviews Coordinates DC student hiring meetings, student offer process (letters, reference/background) and follow up efforts Coordinates DC 2L Diversity Scholarship selection and interview process Administers DC s 10-week Summer Program under the supervision of the Attorney Recruitment & Development Manager. Oversee the summer associates orientation and training schedule, manage the summer calendar and events. Oversee the monitors, work assignments, and the evaluation process. Monitors attorney and student applications, database input, applicant tracking and correspondence, applicant reimbursement, file maintenance and processing departmental expenses related to recruitment. Qualifications: 2 years of attorney recruitment experience in a law firm environment and Bachelor's degree required. Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work well independently in a demanding, fast-paced and service-oriented environment. Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Excellent professional demeanor, sound judgment, discretion; must maintain the highest level of confidentiality. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with viDesktop is preferred.
