Immigration Associate Attorney Duties: Prepare, review and submit non-immigration and immigration applications to USCIS and DOL. Draft and prepare the petition and RFE response letters and other legal documents. Conduct client intake and consultations. Manage client expectations, communicate with the client and foreign nationals regularly regarding procedural, case processing issues and case strategy. Research immigration policies and procedures, as well as immigration statutes, case laws and regulation. Supervise legal assistants, provide internal training and performance evaluations to legal assistants. Have a strong presence in the community by attending events and participating in workshops. Qualification: An active member of California state bar (preferred) or another state bar, with no record of discipline. At least 2-3 years of business immigration experience, strong case management experience. Prior team management experience strongly preferred. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to prioritize, manage, and implement multiple matters in a fast-paced environment. Must have excellent attention to detail. Bilingual in Chinese and English is highly preferred..
