Founded in 2013 by Mike DiPasquale and Jason Moore, the firm has and continues to grow, as we provide our clients with the professionalism and compassionate legal representation after a traumatic and sometimes life altering event of a personal injury. # H2 ## Position Overview The Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney will handle all aspects of representing clients in their Work Comp matters from the moment the case opens, through each case resolution. This position will also provide direction and supervision to non-attorney staff ensuring adherence to all Workers Compensation laws, regulations, and labor codes. # H2 ## Requirements * MUST have an active Bar license in Missouri and (1) + years law experience * Preferred: Active Bar license in Kansas # H2 ## Responsibilities * Proactively communicate with clients to provide updates and claim status * Interact and negotiate with insurance companies * Draft case materials, correspondence, pleadings, motions, settlement agreements and other legal documents as required * Ensure accuracy of all documents prepared * Comply with all legal standards and regulations * Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and other various proceedings # H2 ## Knowledge and Skills * Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment * Exceptional organizational, prioritization and time-management skills * Committed to providing superb responsive and compassionate client service * Proficient with Microsoft Office programs - Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc. * Outstanding communication and interpersonal relations * Familiar and current knowledge of current Workers Compensation law # H2 ## Salary and Benefits * Competitive salary commensurate with experience * Benefits package - Health, Vision & Dental Insurance * 3 weeks (120) hours of PTO * 401(k) matching retirement plan - up to 4% match * Paid Holidays * Free on-site parking garage * Work-life balance * Stability - become an integral member of an energetic team in a growing law firm, LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
