Chicago office seeks marketing coordinator with 1-3 years of relevant experience. The candidate will the Chief Marketing Officer with implementing marketing and business development communications initiatives to enhance the Firm's image and increase revenue. Will support internal clients in an effort to win new external clients and/or sustain existing relationships with current external clients. Provide planning and support for seminars and presentations, including the creation and coordination of event collateral, distribution of Firm collateral. Coordinate and support event planning committees, including the creation and coordination of event collateral for client relationship building events and high importance Firm social events such as Ravinia Night and the ABA Annual Meeting Reception. Support creation of business development collateral, including proposals, qualifications, presentations and other related collateral. Assist Business Development Managers in development and maintenance of strategic business contacts and outreach. Monitor and follow up on business development activities, including research and distribution of event attendee information. Support Marketing Communications Manager to manage Practice Group brochure revision process and inventory. Track metrics related to business development and practice materials. Draft, edit and facilitate content for Firm website. Support the development of concepts and ad copy for ads. Support cross-function Marketing Department initiatives with additional responsibilities. Should have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications and/or journalism or equivalent work experience. Law firm marketing experience in an AmLaw 100 Firm preferred. Must have outstanding proofreading, oral/written communications and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work with all levels of personnel as well as firm leadership. Must be able to work independently as well as within a team. Event management skills preferred.
