Paralegal The candidate will be proofreading and ensuring all documents that leave our office are correct. Communication with adjusters, attorneys, clients, and court staff. Appearing timely and professionally dressed. Working cases from beginning to end; opening and organizing all client files. Establishing prelitigation insurance claims with Insurance Companies. Drafting and filing all pleadings. Maintaining an organized calendaring system. Preparing, organizing, and filing documents and correspondence. Conducting research, document searches, and other factual research. Updating and maintaining internal databases. Preparing witness and matter materials for case preparation. Organizing relevant documents for attorney review and case preparation. Preparing for and attending depositions. Preparing and organizing exhibits during depositions. Preparing and filing all court documents. Communication with adjusters, attorneys, clients, and court staff. Ensuring billing is accurate and up to date for every client. Other duties to ensure the law practice is smoothly and successfully operating. The candidate should have personal Injury experience. Experience in the areas of criminal and family law are preferred. Must have experience with MyCase, Callendly, Westlaw, and Westlaw FormBuilder. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
