Mid-Level Associate Attorney, Asset Securitization The candidate must have 3+ years of experience in transactional work, corporate law or finance law at a large or mid-size law firm, in-house law department or governmental agency. Examples of specific types of desired experience include the following: Representing companies and financial institutions in financing activities; Providing advice to clients on structured finance transactions; Advising clients on the acquisition or sale of portfolios of financial assets; Representing parties to secured and unsecured credit facilities; Understanding of commercial and securities law issues as they relate to finance transactions; Representing parties in financing transactions with a broad range of asset classes. Should possess impressive academic credentials; the ability to simultaneously negotiate and efficiently handle multiple projects; strong interpersonal, analytical, oral communication and writing skills as well as superior negotiating skills; and an understanding of business, industry and market issues. New York Bar Admission preferred; DC Bar Admission (or eligibility for admission by waiver) required.
