Oil & Gas Associate Attorney The candidate will prepare oil and gas title opinions, and assist with transactions and litigation. This posting is for the firms office located in Columbus, Ohio. Review real property title documents and oil and gas related agreements. Identify and analyze title issues within the chain of title. Calculate ownership of surface, mineral, royalty and working interest owners. Draft title opinions advising clients of ownership and title issues. Draft documents relating to oil and gas transactions and property conveyances and curative. Analyze issues relating to federal, state and Indian lands. Must be Currently licensed attorney in good standing in the Ohio. Should have familiarity with various title and oil and gas related documents. Must have familiarity with various mineral interests and their effect on title.
