Corporate Attorney Responsibilities: Working directly with founders, CEOs, CFOs, and GCs in rendering legal services. Devising solutions to help clients achieve business goals and mitigate risks. Communicating with clients and team members re: project status, budget, etc. Drafting and reviewing legal documents. Managing capitalization tables. Managing clients, transactions, and other projects. Qualifications: Bar admission in Colorado or another major US market. 3+ years corporate and securities experience, with a strong preference for those that have represented startups and emerging growth companies in financings and M&A. Willingness to serve in an outsourced general counsel-type role. Ability to understand complex topics, and to explain them to others in clear, concise terms. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships of trust. Desire to practice law flexibly, and on a team that values elegant solutions, continuous improvement, and healthy boundaries. Savvy with technology, PC or Mac, web apps (e.g., DocuSign, Carta). Comfortable working in spreadsheets. Bonus points if have experience on the other side of the table A? as a law firm customer, whether as an in-house lawyer or otherwise.
