Immigration Attorney Responsibilities: Represent clients in immigration court for deportation cases in regard to asylum, cancellation, SIJ, adjustment, bond hearings, and more. Prepare and file briefs and motions on behalf of clients. Advise clients on immigration matters. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of immigration law. Prepare forms and filings as related to deportation cases. Represent clients at adjustment interviews and naturalization interviews. Prepare clients for hearings and interviews.? ??Qualifications: Previous paid immigration law experience (1 year plus). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have passed a Bar exam. Must be willing to attend in-person hearings and interviews and come to the office in White Plains.
