Paralegal Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls and emails on questions regarding cases, as well as communicate with clients regarding the information needed for cases. Interact with financial institutions and insurance companies regarding assets for client cases. Complete financial and insurance documents regarding client cases., Manage probate cases, as well as other cases in probate court, including ensuring proper notice, publications, and court filings are completed. Draft petitions and other court documents for probate and trust administration court cases. Prepare documents relating to trust administration cases. Work with law firm staff to streamline and contribute to law firm operations. Assist attorneys and paralegals in drafting business documents, such as Operating Agreements, written consents, and stock/membership certificates. Draft and prepare estate planning documents. Prepare and file compliance paperwork regarding business entities (corporations, LLCs, etc.). Qualifications: Must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate's degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years of experience working under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm in Trusts and Estates, particularly managing probate and trust administration cases (preferably in the area of Business Law as well). Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Spanish fluency/proficiency is a plus. Must have an extremely high degree of attention to detail
