Part-time Estate Planning Attorney The candidate will draft wills, trusts, and other estate planning instruments and supervise their execution. Will be assisting clients with funding their trust-based plans including preparation of account transfer forms and beneficiary change forms, real estate transfer instruments, etc. Prepare federal transfer tax returns, including for estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes, and income tax returns for Trusts and Estates. Provide advice and guidance to clients needing more advanced estate plans including charitable planning, business succession planning, and income tax planning and implementation of the same. Assist with the administration of estates and trusts, including preparing and submitting probate court filings and following up with the court, as necessary. Work collaboratively with other attorneys and support staff to provide high-quality service to our clients. Perform other related duties as assigned. Should have prior experience with drafting estate planning documents, and forms and documents related to estate and trust administration. The preferred candidate has mid- to large-law firm experience and immediately transferrable skills. Must have Admission to the Missouri Bar. Background in tax is a plus, including experience with the preparation of Forms 706 and 709.
