Intake Attorney The candidate will work with property owners and managers to assess the viability of evictions, provide legal advice regarding landlord-tenant law, and draft demand letters and notices. Will assist clients step-by-step through every phase of the eviction process. Attorneys assess each case, conduct legal document preparation and review, provide legal advice through phone and email consultations by counseling property owners and operators regarding the enforceability of lease provisions, potential FEHA and ADA issues, and other clauses that may preclude a viable eviction from occurring, and how to remedy these issues as needed. Must have Juris Doctorate degree and active CA Bar license. Should have 3+ years of experience. General overview of landlord-tenant principles and CA Civil Code is essential. Good verbal and written communication skill is essential. Some contact with the rental housing industry is preferred.
