Administrative Assistant/Junior Paralegal The candidate will join a bankruptcy legal firm. Will be responsible for all incoming calls, reminder calls, and any follow-up with clients as needed. Their demeanor is to be pleasant with every client. Tasks will include: calendar entry, document organization and scanning, general office maintenance, inventory of office supplies, working with client management system, overseeing the office to-do list to make sure all other tasks are being completed on time, some court preparation work, filling out mortgage foreclosure court documents regularly and tracking the filing time for each, setting deadlines, problem-solving inter-office issues, maintaining a cool disposition, leads generation and follow-up, and taking client payments over the phone and in-person, as well as some accounting work.
Minimum Education/Experience: 2 year associates or 2 years office experience. Familiarity with legal field. Professional Skills: Organized; Efficient; Client and Customer service; Familiarity with various courts systems/websites; Time management; Prioritization of tasks; Computer competency with multiple programs; Typing fluency. Preferred Education/Experience: Paralegal Certification. 5 + years of experience in office management. Experience in a Bankruptcy law office. Experience with Civil Court matters. Education: Any additional skills, i.e. Microsoft Office, G-Suites, BestCase, Client management software, Spanish.
