Real Estate Attorney The candidate will be handling all aspects of residential real estate closings representing buyers, sellers, builders, developers, and lenders. Working closely with clients, attorneys, real estate agents, loan officers, and title companies. Effectively monitoring and addressing all incoming communications on multiple files concurrently. Continuously tracking time deadlines and critical dates while proactively anticipating and identifying developments that may impact the timeliness of closings. Should have been admitted to the New York State Bar and be in good standing. Must have 1+ years of transactional experience in all aspects of purchase, refinance, co-op, and CEMA transactions. Should have familiarity with residential closing documentation including contracts, mortgages, title insurance reports and policies, TRID and RESPA compliance, requirements, and procedures, risk mitigation, and other law firm procedures and protocols. Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritize workload are needed. The ability to adapt to constantly changing policies and procedures due to changes in the law, lenders and law firm's requirements is a prerequisite.
