Associate Attorney - Criminal Defense The candidate will be responsible for handling a caseload ranging from traffic matters and DUIs to more serious felonies from the pre-trial stage through trial. The cases often involve multiple parties, informants, evidentiary issues, etc. Will be expected to conduct smaller motion hearings and trials on own but must be able to effectively work as a team player for more complex cases. The candidate must have 1-3 years of experience in criminal law. Should preferably be familiar with Cook and/or surrounding counties' criminal courts and passionate about writing and arguing motions and conducting motion hearings and trials. Should also be enthusiastic and passionate about criminal defense, conducting trials, and defending clients. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
