Real Estate Paralegal Duties: Schedule closings. Prepare HUD and Closing Disclosures. Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, buyers and sellers. Process closing and post-closing documents. Record documents and disburse closing proceeds. Balance all real estate IOLTA trust ledgers for attorney review. Process all incoming deposits for real estate closings. Prepare monthly trust account reconciliation for attorney review. Title search. Prepare seller documents for attorney review. Qualifications: Efficient and organized. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced legal environment. Proform/Softpro & Protrust experience is required. Proficient in accounting principles. Proficient in Word, Excel, PDF, Outlook. Proficient in the preparation of cash settlement statements, closing disclosures, seller documents and other ancillary documents. Ability to thoroughly review documents. Prepare documents by gathering information needed; researching. Ability to search property title and prepare preliminary title opinions for attorney review. Hard worker with the ability to handle the pressure of deadlines. Excellent attendance with reliable transportation. Ability to work independently while also successful in a collaborative team environment. Flexibility is a must. Must adhere to company policies and guidelines. Notary. References required.
