Associate Attorney The candidate will work on a wide variety of cases involving civil litigation, bankruptcy law, and tax matters. Will help handle cases for both plaintiffs and defendants, including cases involving director/officer/shareholder disputes, personal injury, construction defects, and class action claims. Will help handle all aspects of debtor-creditor relationships, corporate bankruptcy filings, bankruptcy and insolvency litigation, and the representation of a chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee. The firms tax practice focuses on resolution of complex tax matters at the federal, state and local tax levels. Experience in these areas is not mandatory, but is desirable. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio. Admission to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio is desirable but is not required. Strong academic credentials. Excellent research, legal writing, and communication skills. Attention to detail. Prepared for the unpredictability and time demands of litigation practice. Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, staff, clients, opposing attorneys, and court personnel.
