Class Action Associate Attorney The candidate will be interacting with expert witnesses, including the preparation of expert reports and affidavits. Day-to-day handling of state and federal class action cases in various stages. The investigation, drafting, and filing of litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memoranda. Guiding clients through the case process. Preparing for and attending depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances. Must have a Law degree from a fully accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with the State Bar Association. Must have 2+ years of class action experience, including trial, deposition, and motions experience in technical, complex cases, ideally on behalf of plaintiffs. Clerkship experience and law review experience are preferred. Should have exceptional research skills. Should be capable of scouring the earth on Westlaw to find applicable caselaw. Should have excellent client service and communication skills. Should be a self-starter driven by long-term career goals. Should have superior writing and oral advocacy skills with close attention to detail.
