Experienced Legal Administrative Assistant (Legal Secretary) Candidate will provide support to and coordinate projects for one of the firms founding partners, the firms General Counsel, and at least one other litigation attorney. In addition to high-level administrative tasks, responsibilities include transcription, managing multiple projects, and drafting correspondence, discovery, pleadings and other legal documentation. Requirements: Some college and Associates degree preferred; 5+ years of legal administrative/secretary experience; Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook, plus working knowledge of current technology; Full knowledge of filing in federal and state courts; Strong interpersonal communication skills; Demonstrated ability to collaborate with team members; Ability to develop trust and maintain confidentiality; Advanced organizational skills and ability to shift priorities; Familiarity with managing workloads for law firm executive leadership.
