This mid size Orlando office maintains a full service civil law practice. The is organized into the following areas: litigation, health law, communications and media, employment and labor, tax, personal planning and employee benefits, securities and public offering, real estate, and business and corporate office. Trust/Estates Paralegal The candidate will prepare legal documents such as probate pleadings, deeds, stock/bond transfer documents, wills, trust agreements and powers of attorney for review, approval, and use by attorney. Prepares federal and state estate tax, fiduciary income tax, gift tax returns and individual income tax returns for review by attorney. Assists in any audit of same. Assists in the execution of estate planning documents and maintains associated client files. Collects, values and inventories real and personal property for estate planning. Tracks, maintains and accounts for all receipts to and disbursements from the client estate or trust in format required by Probate Court. Opens and monitors guardianship accounts including annual accountings and tax returns. Handles client telephone calls and requests. Researches and analyzes law sources such as cases, statutes, legal articles, regulations and legal codes.
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of experience; equivalent combination of education, training and experience may substitute for education requirement.
