The successful candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment, have the ability to work independently as well as in a group setting, and be capable of handling a large case load, making court appearances and meeting other requirements. Job Responsibilities: * Represent clients in a full range of litigation matters * Develop and implement strategies to achieve client objectives * Maintain strong client relationships * Prepare and draft legal documents * Research and analyze legal information * Maintain knowledge of the legal industry * Appear in court and make arguments * Manage and oversee court proceedings * Negotiate settlements * Represent clients in mediations * Provide legal advice to clients * Monitor deadlines * Prepare legal briefs Job Requirements: * A minimum of three years of civil litigation experience * In good standing with the California State Bar * Excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills * Excellent client relations abilities Salary and Benefits: This is a full-time position with a salary ranging from $100,000 to $125,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
