Proposition 65 Attorney The candidate will focus on consumer protection through Proposition 65 litigation, alongside a range of ad hoc plaintiff work in other consumer protection avenues as needed. Lead litigation efforts in state courts, federal district and appellate courts, and administrative tribunals. Drive settlement negotiations toward optimal resolutions for clients and public at large. Work with existing clients to develop new cases in a strategic fashion; conduct factual investigations, develop legal theories, draft pleadings and briefs, and otherwise manage new and existing cases. Collaborate in team problem solving, litigation strategy, and project management. Establish trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, outside co-counsel, clients, and industry partners. Operational business experience preferred. Prior Proposition 65 experience a plus. Must have ability to master new competencies as required to address client needs. Should have proven research, analysis, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Must be licensed to practice law in the state of California.
