Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will handle follow up at the end of the funding process. Recording documents for property transfer in various counties, completing and submitting ownership transfer forms for many financial institutions and submitting correspondence to initiate the funding process for our clients. Acting as a teacher, help clients through this difficult part of the process by explaining to them what they received in the mail and how we can help. Answer various funding questions that the clients have throughout the process. Completing, checking, and monitoring every real estate transaction that we handle for clients (working with the register and the city/township assessors). Answering phone calls from clients and explain where we are at with their real estate transfers, or guide them through the documents that they have received in the mail. Creating documents necessary for clients who are selling their houses, processing a refinance, or acquiring a home equity line of credit. Recording documents using Simplifile & US Deeds. Drafting, reviewing & filing Property Transfer Affidavits, Principal Residence Exemptions and other real estate documents as needed. Other duties as assigned. Must have Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in work experience. Should have 2+ years of customer/client service experience. Must have 2+ years experience with real estate. Must be proficient in all Microsoft office programs. Should have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
