Litigation Attorney The candidate's duties include: Collaborate with clients and senior associates and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently; Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings; Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action; Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff; Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys; Manage discovery requests and conduct discovery on plaintiff cases; Foster and maintain an excellent rapport with clients through consistent communication and thorough advisement; Engage in networking/community activities. Should have effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients. Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base. Should have successful completion of the bar exam. Must have a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school. Should be a Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA). Must have some courtroom experience and strong legal research and writing skills.
