Title : Personal Injury Paralegal

Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for: drafting correspondence, motions, discovery, and/or pleadings; compiling organizing, redacting, and labeling documents for production; docketing and managing deadlines; communicating with clients; requesting and reviewing medical records; creating medical chronology; proof reading; and drafting and preparing settlement disbursements. Must have experience in civil litigation, preferably personal injury claims. Should preferably have 2+ years of experience, but must have 1+ year of experience. Must be familiar with relevant laws as it applies to personal injury claims, motor vehicle accidents and insurance. Should have computer skills including knowledge of MS Word and legal software. Knowledge of medical terms is needed. Knowledge of insurance coverage types and policies is an asset. Being a notary is a plus.
