Attorney Candidate will be involved in outside general counsel, entity formation, employment law, trademarks and intellectual property, and purchase and sale of businesses. Work will include: Providing transactional legal services, working directly with our small business clients and the Law team. Will involve business development work. Will be incorporating technology, helping to develop automation processes, drafting educational materials for newsletters and the website, giving presentations, etc. Requirements: JD Degree and admitted to practice in Illinois + experience in transactional small business law. 3+ years of legal experience, especially in trademarks, intellectual property, and mergers and acquisitions. Ability to provide excellent legal services. Excellent writing skills. Can draft excellent legal documents AND engaging educational materials. Experience with transactional small business law, especially in the areas of trademarks, intellectual property, and mergers and acquisitions. Desire to make legal services accessible to an under-served market. Creative, out-of-the-box thinking often required to meet the efficiency demands of clients. Able to prioritize and efficiently manage projects from beginning to end. Professional and friendly client-facing demeanor.
