Paralegal Responsibilities: File organization, preparing and editing legal documents and supporting papers, conducting research and investigation, handling general administrative tasks, preparing for closings and trials, and assisting with marketing. Be exposed to a range of issues from complex commercial disputes in active litigation to day-to-day business transactions and deals. Assisting as a liaison between attorneys and the courts, clients, and service providers.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Excellent writing, editing and communication skills. Superior computer skills and tech savvy (proficiency in MS Word, Office, and Adobe a must, web-page development a plus, typing 40-50+ wpm). Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and achieve deadlines. Analytical and problem solving skills, resourcefulness and ability to work independently and closely with others. Strong attention to detail, commitment to accuracy. 2+ years of professional office experience (experience as paralegal or legal assistant). 2+ years of law office experience preferred.
