Employee Employment Law Attorney Duties: Working on the firm s litigation cases in state and federal court. Will be expected to learn quickly and take the lead on projects from beginning to end. Most work assigned will be employment-related cases, interest, experience, and familiarity with employment law is important. Qualifications: Practical experience working with employment issues and litigating in court will be a major advantage. Any practical experience involving small firm, case management, and direct client work will also be helpful. Technology skills. KM&A is a paperless firm, highly integrated with cloud-based technology, so it is essential that you are adept at using modern hardware and software. Specific areas that are important: smartphone email access, manipulating PDFs, Westlaw, electronic court filing, Dropbox, and Office. Independent motivation. Should be independently motivated to learn new substantive, procedural, and administrative roles. Litigation interest.
