Paralegal The candidate's responsibilities include: Support supervising attorney's caseload; Review file and discuss with attorney facts to that case prior to preparing complaint; Responsible for having a firm knowledge of state and federal court rules, procedures, and deadlines; Effectively manage the attorney's calendar; Draft pleadings, including Judicial Council forms; Draft discovery requests and responses; Demonstrate resourcefulness and effectively work in a team environment with the supervising attorney; Case management to include regular client contact via email and telephone; Provides timely updates to both employers and employees and oversee the document gathering process; Demonstrates excellent verbal communications with clients and supervising attorney; Assist attorney with any needed trial preparations. Spanish-speaking skills are preferred. Should have 2 years of experience as a litigation Paralegal. Should be highly motivated, detail oriented, and a team player. Will be assisting Attorneys in handling cases from intake until settlement and must be able to work with Attorneys and other Paralegals. Must have the ability to exercise good judgment and meet deadlines. Should have experience in PI.
