Workers Compensation Paralegal Duties: Handle clients who are injured and stressed, going through, in many cases, the most challenging time in their lives. Will be clients primary point of contact and must possess a professionally empathetic disposition when working with and communicating with them. Responsible for being in the details of each case and helping drive it forward towards a positive resolution for clients. Know their cases inside and out, show self-initiative to follow up on the details of each case, communicate frequently with clients and the attorney, and are on top of their caseload. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree is preferred. 1+ year of workers compensation paralegal experience. Experience with medical records, discovery, board forms, letter writing, and hearing preparation. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Professional attitude and empathetic in dealing with clients. Care for clients, attention to detail, and efficient work habits will be the keys to success.
