Paralegal The candidate will be preparing drafts of legal and other documents and correspondence for attorney review. Will be handling assignments and post registration filings for U.S. registrations, handling U.S. filings for foreign based clients, and keeping clients apprised of the status of marks and patents. Locating and reviewing information applicable to a particular case, person or subject via online research or document reviews. Drafting simple pleadings to assist attorneys with major motions and filings. Should have Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate. Must have 5+ years' experience as a paralegal in a law firm setting supporting an Intellectual Property/ Trademark practice group. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.Experience with legal software such as Relativity, LexisNexis, Westlaw, or similar technology is essential. Must have strong experience filing in Federal Courts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to interact with staff, attorneys and clients on a daily. 10+ years experience in a law firm setting supporting an Intellectual Property/ Trademark practice group is preferred. Large firm experience is preferred. Experience filing in Chancery Court is desired.
