Legal Secretary The candidate will provide secretarial and administrative support to three or more timekeepers (attorneys and/or paralegals.). Administrative support (answering phones, email maintenance, copying & scanning documents, coordinate travel arrangements, etc.) Assume responsibility for ensuring the efficient daily administrative operations. Draft correspondence, memoranda, and other legal documents. Prepare expense reports. Communicate with attorneys and help balance the team's workload to ensure completion of projects within established time frames. Calendar of deadlines related to discovery, pleadings, court-mandated hearings, etc.. Provide quality service to external parties by interacting professionally and displaying a "can do" attitude via electronic and print correspondence, when answering telephone calls, taking and relaying messages, greeting visitors and coordinating attorney, client or other inquiries in the absence of the attorney. Other tasks and responsibilities as requested. Should preferably have 3+ years of recent Legal Secretarial experience, and/or 3+ years of Administrative Secretary experience. Experience working in a medium/large law firm is preferred.
