PI Litigation Paralegal Duties: File handling and maintaining consistent client contact to stay on top of treatment and issues which may arise. Drafting, tracking, managing & complying with pleadings; discovery; motions; court/judicial requirements/notices. Maintaining and managing the attorney s schedule. Attend and prepare for required meetings. Prepare and serve subpoenas. Preparation and presentation of case for trial, ADR, pre-trials, etc. General administrative support.
Qualifications: Associate's Degree, 3+ years of experience handling plaintiff personal injury litigation files, knowledge and experience with discovery compliance and CT Practice Book for plaintiff personal injury cases, and excellent written and verbal skills. Discipline, is detailed oriented, motivated, a self- starter, and has the ability to multi-task and possesses good communication skills (written and verbal). Demonstrated working knowledge with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) is required. Familiarity with Needles is preferred. Review of candidates will begin on September 22, 2017.
