Job Responsibilities: - Providing support to attorneys in resolving routine and unique legal issues. - Researching and analyzing law sources, statutes, recorded judicial decisions. - Drafting legal notices, contract amendments, memoranda, etc. - Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of office work experience, including at least 1-2 years experience as a paralegal/legal assistant. - Estate planning experience is preferred. - Medicaid and Probate experience is a plus. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - An exceptional ability to pay attention to detail. - Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - The ability to take direction well and an ability to approach the work as an opportunity to learn. - The ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member. - Demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly with minimal training and contribute immediately in a challenging and fast paced environment. - The confidence and comfort necessary to stand up for the interests of the firm and its clients. - A high level of professionalism, integrity, reliability, discretion and confidentiality. - Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to navigate information technology systems generally; IT/computer troubleshooting and Clio skills are a plus. - Passion for what you do and a positive outlook.
